The Caribbean Dyslexia Centre runs a number of courses, workshops and programs for students, teachers and parents.


For students

Individual teaching lessons

Assessments for age 7yrs – adult

Creative Thinkers Program (in collaboration with redmango studios)

Dyslexia Awareness Course for Teachers (July 8-12, 2019)

Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing (one year online - 4 days face to face July 15-18, 2019)

THRASS group sessions (Teaching Handwriting, Reading and Spelling Skills)

Early Intervention for age 5 yrs -6 yrs 11 months

Vacation workshops for students

Intensive tuition available during school holidays

Lessons provided by qualified dyslexia trained tutors in recognised teaching methods

“Mango Tree” Reading Series and support manual

Monday – Friday
2.30 p.m. – 6.00 p.m.

Saturday 9.00 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.

(Early morning classes available on request)

FOR Teachers

Teachers Professional Training Day – Talks/Workshops/ Seminars

Training Dyslexic Pupils Course (TDPC), accredited by OCN U.K. (5 week teacher training course held in July/August)

Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing (CCET) , held every 2 years during July/August incl. face to face interaction and up to one year online tuition

Talks and Seminars to Schools for Teachers

Talks and Presentations to schools and other organisations

Overseas Training and Workshops available for other Caribbean islands
